For 2023, North put the Carve back into its wave riding category. We've introduced lighter bladders in all sizes and a lighter 2-ply canopy reinforcement. Canopy With the use of the heavier grade (81grm-m2) Challenge code tec 95P fabric, not only does it’s its shape held better whilst overpowered, it also has a super responsive crisp feeling. The life span of this material is also FAR superior. With extensive testing over a West Australian summer the wing utilising this material although weathered, held its original shape from when it was first pulled out of the bag. The coloured leading edge fabric is the traditional weight (54grm-m2) which allows the wing to breathe a little better in pumping up onto the foil and not feeling too rigid.

Armastong HA Foil Wings.

The HA range benefits from two years’ worth of research with a leading CFD team in the hydrofoil sailboat world. A newly developed section shape, outline and profile give the HA range a remarkable “best of both worlds” ability to carve beautiful lines and easily stay high in the pumping power zone for maximum wave riding potential. 2022 Duotone Unit Foiling Wing

The 2022 Duotone Unit is impressive from the first flight. Light, and stable, yet incredibly easy to handle and control with our new rigid handles. It is all about the stiffness.

The design goal of the new Unit was simple, we wanted to create a wing with a stable drift that can follow you effortlessly without pulling left, right, up or down when depowered on the wave. At the same time, we wanted a wing that created more lift for improved hang time in jumps and easier handling in maneuvers, all of this combined with a boom-like control and steering.

The results will blow your mind, the unit has proven to be our best performing wing to date with unrivalled flying performance. The slightly wider span of the Unit offers great luffing stability when on the wave and significantly better hang time in the jumps. Unparalleled Canopy Tension ​

 Not only is the leech just tight. The whole wing now maintains its shape when de-powered with almost zero flutter through the whole canopy. Thus, the reaction time from de powering to sheeting on is almost instantaneous. With incredible stability when in the neutral position when either riding a trough down wind or surfing holding onto the front handle. 

During a downwinder it also aids the wing maintaining flight even with zero apparent wind, keeping the wing up instead of collapsing down to your feet.

Minimizing Strut Flex

As the wing powers up or when hit by a gust there’s less strut flex enhancing acceleration control and power, with a much more precise feel. There’s seriously a stark difference.

When jumping this is even further evident with the wing not folding in half, aiding hang time and lift.

The draft has moved forward, enhancing upwind ability, reducing stalling as you point closer to the wind whilst also taking you deeper off the wind.

Tip Angles

They're critical in terms of how the wing reacts while surfing, keeping the wing flying true, being able to actually lean and drive off the wing on your backhand and avoid any annoying movements or flipping.

HPS Wings

The High Performance Speed (HPS) wings are FAST. Designed for the ultimate in performance, but yet still usable by most levels of riders. Since the HPS wings use their own foil section with less camper and narrower chord, we developed a special fuselage that will accommodate all the HPS and future performance front wings.

The HPS wings are the ideal performance wings for WINGING and DOWNWIND. High level riders they also SUP, PRONE, WAKE and WINDSURF foil the bigger sizes, while the smaller sizes are perfect for TOW, freestyle WINGING and KITE foiling.

This is a new generation of front wings made for FAST performance riding, while it's still stable and predictable with enormous amount of glide and great turning.

The AXIS PNG wings are designed to be easy and early to lift for their size.

Unifoil Progression foil tail wing.

The Progression tails are tuned to a neutral foot pressure. They have evolved out of the Shiv tail, the most popular of the 3 packs we’ve sold. The Progression tail is fairly thin giving it some extra speed and pumping efficiency over the Shiv. Unifoil also pulled the tips in a bit more for sharper angles in turns.

This design sees the mast position advanced 60mm closer to the front foil, opening up entirely new options for surf performance.
Our Current Black fuselage range is perfectly suited to the majority of riders across all disciplines, these new Black Advance+ fuselage are not intended to replace them but provide options for performance and a more connected feel when pushing the limits.

A consideration when moving the mast position on the fuselage forward is that the effective length of the rear fuselage back to the rear stabilising foil is increased by the distance the mast moves forward. For this reason we are introducing a new fuselage size the  ‘Sillyshort’.

When choosing your Advance Black Fuselage, it’s advisable to take this into consideration and perhaps opt for a length shorter than you are used to using. If you’re currently using an Ultrashort, you might consider the Crazyshort instead.
Available in Ultrashort, Crazyshort and an all new Sillyshort (just 560mm).

Compared to our current Black fuselage range, these 3 new little siblings provide a looser, smoother transition from side-to-side. The sensation our testers liken it to is similar to the sensation of moving fins forward in the tracks on a surfboard, initiating turns becomes easier, which is great in the surf. There is a small trade-off, this ease of turning comes as at the expense of some tracking stability. (So expect to have a very small effect on upwind ability when winging and a need to adjust pumping technique slightly).

Code Foil Fuselage.

When designing this fuselage Code's main goals were strength, stiffness and absolutely zero movement in the joins. ​ They also wanted the setup to be adaptable so they have made the fuse in 3 different lengths and provided the option to change tail wings simply and quickly to find the perfect setup for each rider.

• The Code fuselage is designed for total stiffness and versatility in mind, giving you the ability to customize your setup with three different fuse lengths.
• Add to this the ability to change your tail wing and to shim to suit your unique style and feel.
• A unique joining system providing a join with zero movement!

The skeleton of a foot consists of 28 bones. 20 muscles and over 114 tendons and ligaments ensure the required flexibility and stability of the bones to each other. A fine nerve and blood vessel network supplies the surface and deeper muscles above and below the foot. Dakine Renegade harness for Kitesurfing and windsurfing.

The Dakine Renegade Travel Light Kite harness is especially light and yet robust. The special feature of the outer shell of the Renegade is that it also is a very stable very mobile. It is not hard board or inexorably stiff, because by the held flat foam on the inside, the tray adjusts to the body. This relieves the back when pressure is built up when riding.
