2027 North Orbit Ultra Kite. The Orbit Ultra has a slightly higher aspect ratio than the Orbit, which makes for faster recovery, higher boosting and more hangtime. The Ultra kites are developed in collaboration with North Pro riders and tested in extreme competitive conditions. North tune them to highest performing kites. N-u80 airfame pairs directional stiffness with torsional flexibility. The cross-ply Technora reinforcement and PET lining sit on the inner side only, giving the material its progressive, tuned twisting ability. This translates into a exceptionally fast-turning kite, while improving UV, tear, fold, and abrasion resistance. Thinner, lower-drag primary bridles (attached to LE) are lighter and lower drag, helping to compensate for the weight of the additional bridle points, which help to support the slimmer LE. The 2027 Orbit Ultra is fast-flying with more direct turning, vertical lift, and improved low-end. The thinner LE also increases the loop speed, so it can fly forward and catch you quicker.
